All entrants will receive:

* Competitor's friends, and family members may purchase tickets for the pig roast for $5.00 each. Children under 12 are $3.00 each. The hot dogs and pizza are free to all.
- Each finisher will receive a medal commemorating the fifth running of the Megatransect.
We will also have LOTS of merchandise from sponsors to give away at random to all registrants. In 2006 over 70% of entrants received a prize, ranging from a pair of Wigwam socks to hydration packs to a free night in a local B&B to several pairs of New Balance and Montrail shoes. Special thanks to Haven Shoes and Rock, River and Trail for really beating the Megatransect drum.
You may check-in on Friday evening from 5:00-10:00 p.m. . Of course, registration is open Saturday morning from 5:15 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. No competitor may leave the starting line after 7:20 a.m.
DIRECTIONS TO START/FINISH: From I-80 - Take Exit 178 (Lock Haven). Travel north on Rt. 220 about 7 miles to the PA. Rt. 120 exit (Lock Haven exit off Rt. 220). At end of ramp (traffic light) turn left and go through two traffic signals to a stop sign (river bridge will be ahead of you). TURN RIGHT AT THE STOP SIGN and go about 1 mile, turn right onto a road just before another river bridge. Follow the signs to the Castanea Township Fireman's Picnic Grounds.
